Design Philosophy and Overview:
TATAWIN is a family of luminaires designed by Adolfo Abejón. The shape of the lampshade is reminiscent of the upper part of the characteristic houses of Tataouine, a town located in the south-east of Tunisia. This hanging lamp with a black structure consists of a reddish orange metal shade that provides a focal light. “I believe that design should be shown nude before our eyes in order to achieve a better symbiosis with humans. Design will dictate how we live in the future and will be transformed into a global experience.”Constantly searching for new aesthetic and constructive languages in order to create designs that combine beauty and functionality, Adolfo Abejón does not forget values like honesty and authenticity.
