It features an electronic reader head and a dummy, enabling both single-sided and double-sided access control.

Powered by batteries, the intelligent thumbturn cylinder allows for contactless activation using a Dialock key. Users receive acoustic feedback when the key is presented, and an illuminated ring indicates the status: green for unlock, red for lock, and no LED for standby. The standard setting engages the thumbturn outside with the authorized Dialock key for 10 seconds, which can be configured variably.
