Battery-operated, it provides a practical solution without the need for electrical connections. Additionally, it is not suitable for use in corrosive environments such as chlorine, ammonia, and lime water.

The product comes with an electronic reader head and dummy, utilizing Tag-it™-ISO® and Legic® transponder technology for contactless activation with the Dialock key. It features either a one-sided (thumbturn cylinder) or two-sided (double cylinder) reader for access control. Acoustic feedback is provided when the key is presented, and it has an illuminated ring for status indication: green for unlock and red for lock.
