As an intelligent thumbturn cylinder, it allows contactless activation using a Dialock key. Users receive acoustic feedback when the key is presented, and the illuminated ring indicates status: green for unlock, red for lock, and no LED for standby. The standard setting engages the thumbturn outside with an authorized Dialock key for 10 seconds before automatically disengaging. Service personnel are notified of programming status and battery change requirements through acoustic error messages.
