The Be Grateful wallpaper collection is a journey through different landscapes and cultures, starting in neighboring Spain, with a texture inspired by the Eixample district of Barcelona.

Three colour variants ranging from neutral tones enriched with metallic details to the multi-coloured digital print version. A network of square blocks diagonally intersected by wide avenues and an eccentric, insane building that is the symbol of the city you are about to visit: the Sagrada Familia Basilica.

You are looking at the Eixample, a district that is unique in the world in terms of structure, tourist attractions, shops and much more... a neighborhood that is worth going to Barcelona in itself! The Eixample (or Ensanche in Spanish, which literally means 'extension'), is the central, largest and most populated area of the Catalan capital and is in turn divided into 6 districts. The history of this district is fascinating: it was built in the middle of the 19th century by the visionary architect Ildefons Cerdá, who decided that the centre of Barna (Barcelona), which was expanding at the time, should be a welcoming and egalitarian place, where everyone had the same living space and where light was paramount. The result is a network of neat streets with low, elegant buildings, where international boutiques and clubs, hotels with beautiful terraces, glamorous restaurants and museums all to discover have found their natural home.
