Users receive acoustic feedback when the key is presented, and the illuminated ring indicates the status: green for unlock, red for lock, and no LED for standby. The standard setting allows the thumbturn outside to engage with an authorized Dialock key and automatically disengages after 10 seconds, which can be configured variably.
